After obtaining his bachelor's degree in music from the University of Houston in 1995, Pastor Ray Park moved to the Dallas area to pursue his graduate studies at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he received his Master of Church Music degree as well as the Master of Divinity in Biblical Languages. While attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, he served as a youth and worship pastor at Hope Baptist Church. After serving at Hope Baptist for six years, he served four years as the worship and youth pastor at Korean Central United Methodist Church of Dallas (KCUMC). Since January 2006, he has been serving as the lead pastor of Journey of Faith Church, which began as the English language congregation of KCUMC.
Outside of church, Ray is a board and executive team member of JAMA and also a member of Mission Dallas. Ray is passionate about sharing Jesus Christ with people, training worship leaders, and mentoring young EM pastors. He and his wife, Hana, have three sons: Christian, Charisen, and Caden.
Brother Pastor Mike serves as an assistant pastor at JoF. He received his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. His passion in life is to faithfully preach and teach the Word of God (2 Timothy 4:2).
He and his wife, Sara, are blessed with three children.
Paul Kim is currently a third-year student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary pursuing a degree in Church Music with an emphasis in Composition and an M.Div degree. He is a graduate of Biola University (Computer Science) and has previously served with the IMB as a Journeyman overseas. He hopes to help the students at JOF to know God more through the Word of God and worship. His favorite basketball player is Pau Gasol (Chicago Bulls) because he is only one letter shy of having the same name and who doesn’t like skilled big men in the post?
Pastor Minhee Cho joined the JOF staff in April of 2014. She received her Master of Arts in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She has a passion for the children of JOF and a desire to see them trained and discipled to be followers of Christ and leaders for Him. Her and her husband, Kiyong, have been married for 7 years and have two beautiful boys, Timothy and Andrew.
Prior to joining JOF, Minhee and Kiyong both served at Wedgwood Baptist Church in Fort Worth.
Pastor Sang Kim joined the Journey of Faith staff in November of 2014 as a worship pastor. He is a graduate of Bernard M. Baruch College, CUNY (Bachelor of Business Administration), and is currently pursuing his M.Div degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. His ministry goal is to serve God's people through the gift of music, and glorify Him through songs of praise. Sang and his wife, Grace, have been married for 6 years and have 2 wonderful children - Hannah and Eli.
